In staged photography classes we don’t focus on simply recording what naturally happens in front of the lens as in the case of photojournalism and documentary for example. Instead we create that reality specifically for the photograph. Creativity and commitment are crucial here due to the significant investment of time and effort needed to achieve the desired results.
