No Waste Show 2020
The eco-fashion show, created from recycled materials by SAPU students, was one of the key accompanying events of the 11th edition of Cracow Fashion Week 2020. It was here that young designers made their first major debut, presenting collections designed with conscious fashion and environmental protection in mind.
The event took place at the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre, located at al. Jana Pawła II 232, and served as the symbolic finale of that year’s CFW. The students’ projects were united by a common idea — fashion without waste, created in the spirit of recycling and upcycling, giving materials a new life and value. The show was not only a manifesto of creativity, but also a response to the challenges of today’s fashion industry.

Event details
The No Waste Show is a unique fashion event that promotes the idea of sustainable design and a responsible approach to clothing.
The collections presented are the result of the “No Waste” classes—an original curriculum where students learn to create fashion with respect for the environment, utilizing reclaimed materials, fabric remnants, and unconventional raw resources.
It stands as a creative answer to overproduction in the apparel industry and demonstrates that material constraints can serve as a catalyst for developing bold, innovative designs.
