Fashion Designer Diploma

Fashion Design School offers a 2.5-year study programme (5 semesters) available in full-time, on-site mode.

Teaching is conducted in either English or Polish, with tuition fees varying depending on the chosen language of instruction. Applicants are kindly asked to indicate their preferred language during the registration process.

  • Full-time mode: approx. 20 teaching hours per week

  • The academic year runs from October to June, followed by a three-month summer break after each year of study

  • There are no entrance exams or age limits

  • No previous experience in fashion design is required

  • We focus on practice – 95% of classes are workshops

  • Places are limited – admission is based on the order of applications

Founded in 1994, SAPU is one of Poland’s first private fashion design schools. We prepare the next generation of designers by combining over thirty years of experience with a practical understanding of the modern fashion market. Our program focuses on hands-on technical skills, offering intensive training in professional studios that covers pattern making, sewing, and garment construction.

Our curriculum combines hands-on craftsmanship with modern technology. You will learn how to use professional fashion design software while also exploring textile arts and styling. In addition to the creative side, we provide solid training in business and branding, giving you the tools you need to launch and manage your own fashion brand.

SAPU’s partnerships with industry leaders provide graduates with real internship opportunities at prestigious fashion houses and ateliers, including Balenciaga, John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Claude Bonucci, Jean-Pierre Braganza, Fyodor Golan, Arkadius, and Joanna Błażejowska. Our alumni’s work has been featured in top magazines like Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and L’Officiel.

Students also refine their craft through collaborations with renowned international institutions such as Donghua University (China), Accademia Koefia (Rome), NABA (Milan), Academy of Design and Haute Couture (Valencia), TEKO Design+Business (Denmark), and Central Saint Martins (London).

Fashion Design School has been twice named the best fashion school in Europe at the Habitus Baltija competition. It is also the only private art school in Poland to receive the Honorary Golden Thread (Złota Nitka) for its exceptional contributions to fashion education.
