About our school

For over 30 years, the International School of Fashion Design (SAPU) has been educating fashion designers in Poland and abroad. We are one of the first private institutions of this kind in Central and Eastern Europe. We teach with a modern, practical approach in an international environment.

SAPU is the place where passion becomes a profession and dreams turn into reality. The school’s mission is to provide comprehensive preparation for a career in the fashion industry, fostering creativity, independence, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the industry, media, and influencers. Classes are taught by active fashion designers and garment technologists with international experience, as well as lecturers from leading art academies.

The powerful dose of creativity I received at the School of Art and Fashion Design helped me create my graduate collection, which drew media attention at Cracow Fashion Week 2015. I can describe my time at SAPU as the most creative period I have experienced so far. I would like to thank all the instructors for the warmth, dedication, and support I could always count on.

SAPU Graduate
I began my adventure with fashion thanks to SAPU almost 10 years ago. It was this very school and its lecturers that developed my creativity, an alternative perspective on fashion, and the ability to find design inspiration in seemingly ordinary things. SAPU was also an opportunity for me to meet interesting people and to study in a really great atmosphere.

I think SAPU is a great school, not only for those who are interested in fashion, but in art in general. There are lots of classes in painting, drawing, composition, and photography. For me, the most rewarding part was the opportunity to exchange ideas and opinions.
Monika Wierzchowska
SAPU Graduate
I decided to study at SAPU with no prior artistic training. However, I had a feeling that it was the right time and place for me. The way the school changed my life exceeded my wildest expectations. Thanks to the painting and drawing classes, I found a new fascination with the world around me, and it remains my greatest inspiration. With the help of the wonderful instructors, I prepared a graduate collection that received many awards. I feel like I've been given a new life… and this is just the beginning.

SAPU Graduate
Step by step, throughout my months of study at SAPU, my teachers—whom I consider my Mentors—helped me discover the depths of my artistic soul, which resulted in the creative expression of art that is fashion. I fondly recall the emotions of my first fashion show. The pride and overwhelming desire to create new projects reassured me that choosing SAPU was the best decision towards becoming a fashion designer. If someone were to say I could go back and change anything, I would reply that I would choose the same path once more!!!

The school’s graduates go on to work as designers, stylists, illustrators, costume designers, or founders of fashion brands. Many develop their own brands or collaborate with companies both in Poland and abroad.
