Junk Fashion Show 2013
The Paper Fashion Show was not only an artistic ecological statement but also a playful exploration of form, texture, and recycled materials — the audience was captivated by both a red evening gown made of crepe paper and a cocktail dress crafted from store receipts.
The award for the most striking recycled design was presented by the show’s main partner, Tołpa, to first-year student Anna Suszka.
In the second part of the show, the dominant theme was eclecticism. Each project combined tradition and history with avant-garde and modernity, reflecting current trends. Baroque, richly decorated garments were juxtaposed with minimalist, futuristic accents.
