The School of Creative Photography invites you to a series of inspiring meetups hosted by our lecturer and acclaimed photographer, Michał “Massa” Mąsior.
Here is a personal invitation from the host:
“I would like us to create a community where we can share photography, ideas and everything that inspires us. We will meet once a month to look at photographs and photobooks together, talk about photographers, exhibitions and films, and share our experiences.
These will not be regular classes or lectures. The meetings are intended to be an open space for conversation, getting to know one another, exchanging inspiration and developing the way we see and think about photography.
One of the main goals of the series will be to create a collaborative photography project. Together, we will choose its theme, establish the guidelines and timeframe, and then develop it during our future meetings.”
Agenda
1. Let’s Get to Know One Another
We will briefly introduce ourselves and talk about our interests and what attracts us most to photography.
2. What Should the School of Creative Photography Exchange Become?
We will discuss the idea, name and format of our meetings, as well as how we can develop them together.
3. Bring Your Favourite Photobook
If you have one, bring along your favourite photobook and tell us briefly why it is important to you. We will look through the books together and share our inspirations.
4. Our Collaborative Photography Project
We will begin discussing a project that we will create as a group. Together, we will consider possible themes, its form and how we would like to work.
5. What’s Next?
We will collect ideas for future meetings and set the date for the next one.
The meetings will be held in English.
