Emulsions

Emulsions are artistic-photographic workshop classes primarily aimed at exploring the possibilities and mastering the technique of working with a photographic emulsion. During the classes, participants work with the emulsion, applying it to various substrates (e.g., wood, ceramics, stones, and fabrics). This allows participants to create original, one-of-a-kind photographic images, combining the medium of photography with elements of craft and visual arts.

The classes focus mainly on working in the darkroom. This is where our students learn the secrets of classic darkroom processing, photographic chemistry and gain skills in working with emulsion.
