Lockjaw exists between wakefulness and dream; it is unreal and abstract. I contest perceived reality on the level of creating meaning and deconstruct the metaphysical concept of being. It represents constantly recurring, exhausting dreams; a disturbed, unstable view of a broken daily life; a story of fear, trauma, and building a self-image from the torn shreds of one's own self-awareness. It is an intimate, self-therapeutic image that tries to find lost emotions.
