Magda Haduła's diploma project – DEATH FACTORIES is a story about places where time drags on terribly, and death comes too painfully. It is a journey into a shocking past where people were treated as objects. Experiments, lethal injections, Zyklon B, or starvation were all the order of the day. The degradation of people, executioners without principles—this is how one can briefly describe the death factories. A walk over mass graves is not meant to be pleasant and is not meant to give respite. Above all, it is about stopping for a moment and looking at the world of that time through the eyes of the victims. The subject is an attempt to realize how much a person and their life are worth… after all, time cannot be turned back.
