"Behind seven mountains, behind seven forests, there was a swimming pool where it all began. Darek – a photographer no longer entirely young – decided to take pictures unlike any others. He was keen on originality, on showing something that few had seen, something that would not let anyone pass by indifferently. He tried very hard, with results sometimes better, sometimes worse, but he was constantly convinced that this was not it; there was still a lack of otherness.One day, while at the swimming pool, a completely new idea came into his head—crazy, demanding, difficult to implement, and somewhat dangerous. He conceived of doing fashion photos. There would be nothing strange about this, were it not for the fact that he wanted to do them underwater. He quickly got to work, which turned out to be an amazing adventure, and after just two years of hard work, satisfied, he decided to show his series of photos. Utopia, as he named the project, has more than one meaning. However, the photographer assures that the mission was a success, and that he himself, the models, and the rest of the crew involved in this venture live on – happy and satisfied with what they managed to achieve."
