"A dream that we do not explain is like a letter that we do not read." / TalmudThey say our dreams show us our desires, longings, and fears. They are usually symbolic images in which there is seemingly no logic. But this is our own specific "world," the other side of the mirror, where other people have no entry—a kind of intimate meeting with oneself. "Bezsennik" (The Insomniac's Dream Book) is an attempt to investigate the mystery hidden within symbols. These are images from the borderland of dream and reality, where nothing is obvious. Where are we when we are not there? And what is it that keeps us from sleeping?
