No Waste Show 2022
The NO WASTE SHOW — an eco-friendly fashion show prepared by first and second-year students from the School of Artistic Fashion Design (SAPU) — took place on March 26 at the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre (Nowohuckie Centrum Kultury).
The event was part of Cracow Fashion Week 2022 and simultaneously marked the first major debut for the young SAPU designers.
This year’s themes focused on responsibility and design consciousness.
First-year students created original looks inspired by the slogan “Let’s help save the seas and oceans.”
Second-year students tackled the broad theme of eco-friendly fashion.
All projects were made from second-hand materials, in line with the NO WASTE philosophy that accompanies the show every year.

NO WASTE SHOW 2022 was a conscious and bold debut of young SAPU designers, who addressed important ecological issues.
Event details
The No Waste Show is a unique fashion event that promotes the idea of sustainable design and a responsible approach to clothing.
The collections presented are the result of the “No Waste” classes—an original curriculum where students learn to create fashion with respect for the environment, utilizing reclaimed materials, fabric remnants, and unconventional raw resources.
It stands as a creative answer to overproduction in the apparel industry and demonstrates that material constraints can serve as a catalyst for developing bold, innovative designs.
