No Waste Show 2021
On May 19, 2021, we had the opportunity to admire the unique collections of first and second-year students from SAPU. The young designers presented their interpretations of the NO WASTE theme, proving that fashion can go hand-in-hand with ecological awareness.
Highlights
The show was the students’ creative response to the NO WASTE theme, combining fashion with recycling and traditional shibori techniques.
Event details
No Waste Show is a unique fashion show that promotes the idea of sustainable design and a responsible approach to clothing.
The collections presented are the result of the “No Waste” classes—an original curriculum in which students learn to create fashion with respect for the environment, utilizing recycled materials, fabric scraps, and unconventional resources.
This is a creative response to overproduction in the clothing industry and proof that material limitations can be an impetus for creating bold, innovative designs.
