Fashion Laboratory 2014
This year’s edition of Fashion Laboratory was exceptionally exciting! The audience, gathered in large numbers at the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre, eagerly anticipated the results of the fashion experiments created by SAPU students.
During the first part of the show, sculptural creations with unconventional forms appeared on stage, made from solid-colored, raw cotton fabric. The second part of the show was dominated by designs inspired by new technologies, modernity, and futurism. The collections featured iridescent fabrics, elements made from plastic, rubber, and metal, as well as LED lights. Transparent and heavy fabrics were combined in innovative ways, with textures reminiscent of stone and electronic circuits. The dominant colors were gold, silver, and navy, evoking the imagery of a starry sky.
