About school
Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design (KSA), founded in 1989 by Joanna and Jerzy Gaweł, has been educating generations of creators, designers, and artists for over three decades, operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
Since our inception, we have focused on growth, high standards, and original curricula developed by our faculty—experienced practitioners with international backgrounds. Every year, we modernize our educational offerings, adapting them to contemporary trends, technologies, and the real-world needs of the creative industries.
At KSA, modernity meets artistic freedom. We work with professional tools, technologies, and current design methods, ensuring that students acquire both solid technical skills and the ability to think consciously and modernly about art, imagery, and design.

We offer a wide range of artistic programs, including fashion design, creative photography, interior design and arrangement, acting, choreography, directing, visual merchandising, garment construction, as well as English-language programs in fashion and photography. This broad spectrum of courses creates a unique environment where students specializing in different fields can collaborate, exchange experiences, and carry out interdisciplinary projects.
Our faculty – consisting of artists, photographers, designers, actors, choreographers, and creative industry specialists – supports students at every stage of their education, sharing their knowledge and practical experience. At KSA, every student is treated individually, and their development and unique creative voice are of key importance to us.
The work of our students is showcased to a wide audience during their studies – through exhibitions, fashion shows, performances, and numerous artistic events. The best students can apply for a scholarship.
KSA is a space where talent develops in a professional, inspiring, and modern environment. This is where the future of young creators begins!
