FASHION LABORATORY 2010

Raw textiles don.t have to be boring . just look at the School of Art and Fashion Design student's designs presented during Fashion Lab Show. Their designs range from flirty and feminine to minimal and modern, with focus on details and shapes. Seeing all the outfits walking down the runway was very inspiring. It also seems like the light color of raw cotton is a perfect solution for the hot summer look. When the first year students are still experimenting with fabrics and silhouette, the second year students are showing more thoughtful approach to fashion. They know that what they present during the show is also an announcement of their future diploma collection. Their outfits looked fresh, edgy and original, proving that the exceptionality lies in the ability of putting real passion and personality into the designs. Architecture was also the theme for the second part of the show. The ready-to-wear designs made of fabric were original and conceptual, but more traditional than the paper ones.
