New collection by our graduate of Fashion School, Piotr Popiołek! „TOM” is a postcard from memory, an old photo album or reminiscence of my dad in uniform. The designer creates moodboard from memories in the raw aesthetics of the seaside landscape.

Is a postcard from memory, an old photo album or reminiscence of my dad in uniform. The designer creates moodboard from memories in the raw aesthetics of the seaside landscape. He introduces corrections to the form of the uniform to give a more personal and contemporary character. The collection is a tribute to the past. A sentimental story about growing up on the island surrounded by the sea. About the identity given by the place. About longing.
The collection includes twelve male silhouettes. The construction of garments was based on the Navy uniform. Color palette was taken from the coastal landscape. The fabrics used in the collection include: satin, cotton, latex, jacquard, tulle, nylon, polyester, lycra and wool. Deconstruction, crystal decorations, coated fabrics, manipulation of materials to look like the sea texture and authors woven technique are the hallmarks of the collection.

Piotr Popiołek – fashion designer, stylist and costume designer based in Cracow, Poland.
The winner of „Cracow Fashion Award”, „Gombold újra (Best International Designer during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Central Europe)” and „Młoda Fala”. Finalist of „Złota Nitka”, „European Fashion Accelerator (Slovakia)”, „Virus Fashion (Lithuania)” and „OFF Fashion”.
Graduate of the Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design and also Fashion Design class under curation of Mark Fast at the 10th „Art & Fashion Forum” powered by Grażyna Kulczyk and curated by Nick Knight. Publications in magazines and websites such as: „Vogue Poland”, „Elle Poland”, „Esquire Poland”, „KALTBLUT Magazine”, „Vanity Teen”, „K Mag”, „Elegant Magazine”, „Yearbook Fanzine”, „Lounge”. His brand took part in the fashion events like: „Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Central Europe”, „Cracow Fashion Week”, „Košice Fashion Week”, „KTW Fashion Week”, „Łódź Young Fashion” and „The Look Of The Year”.
Piotr Popiołek is available in Berlin (Quadrat Shop) and Łódź (Magazyn Wysoki). Designer join „Fashion Revolution Day” – project about fair trade. He designed costumes for performances in the Jewish Theater in Warsaw (Poland), the New Theater in Cracow (Poland), the Kana Theater in Szczecin (Poland) and in the Puppet and Actor Theatre in Kielce (Poland).
His priority is to create recognizable worldwide brand.
