Our goal is to develop the creativity and visual sensitivity of aspiring photographers. We teach not only technique, but above all, how to see consciously and tell stories through images.

Within our original curriculum, we combine a solid theoretical foundation – such as the history, techniques and types of photography – with intensive, hands-on practice. We teach the use of professional tools (Adobe Creative Cloud), the principles of copyright law and effective methods for presenting your own work.

The program covers both classic analog photography techniques and modern digital tools, including the use of artificial intelligence in the creative process. We place a strong emphasis on developing an individual style, experimenting with form and consciously building a portfolio. We teach photography in many contexts – from fashion and advertising to photojournalism, art and conceptual projects.

We also provide support in gaining practical professional experience – our students complete internships during events such as Cracow Fashion Week, fashion shows, theatrical and choreographic performances, as well as by working on photo shoots and photojournalism projects.

The curriculum at SKF provides thorough preparation to start a career as a professional photographer. Our graduates work as freelancers – as photojournalists, producers of photo shoots for fashion magazines, wedding photographers, photo agency owners and photo editors, as well as working in advertising agencies and cultural institutions.
